“UNICORN VS. GOBLIN” IS ONE OF THE BOOKS IN A SERIES BY DANA SIMPSON. IN THIS BOOK THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE PHOEBE AND HER UNICORN, MARIGOLD. WHEN I FIRST STARTED READING THE BOOK I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ABOUT THE UNICORN AND GOBLIN FIGHTING, BUT AT THE END THERE IS A TWIST. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR KIDS AGES 8, 9 AND 10 BECAUSE IT IS AN EASY-TO-READ BOOK WITH A LOT OF PICTURES. I LIKE THE BOOK BECAUSE IT IS FUNNY. THIS IS ELEANOR ALLEN FROM TUCSON COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL FOR BEAR ESSENTIAL NEWS.

I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS LEARNED TO READ, WRITE, AND DRAW FROM COMIC BOOKS. FABIAN NICIEZA IS A COMIC BOOK AUTHOR AND THE CREATOR OF THE CHARACTER DEADPOOL. HE WAS BORN IN ARGENTINA AND MOVED WITH HIS FAMILY AT THE AGE OF 4 TO THE U.S. HE LEARNED TO WRITE AND READ ENGLISH FROM COMIC BOOKS! IN MY CASE I’M PART MEXICAN, NATIVE AMERICAN, SPANISH, AND EUROPEAN. I LEARNED SOME NEW SPANISH WORDS FROM CERTAIN BILINGUAL COMICS. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO DRAW VERY WELL, BUT FROM VIEWING AND ANALYZING ART FROM COMIC BOOKS MY DRAWING SKILLS ADVANCED.

I JUST FINISHED THE BOOK “CRENSHAW.” “CRENSHAW” IS A GREAT BOOK BECAUSE IT’S GOOD AT DESCRIBING FRIENDSHIP. THE FRIENDSHIP OF THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS, JACKSON AND CRENSHAW, WAS REALLY FUN TO READ ABOUT. I REALLY LIKE THE CHARACTER CRENSHAW. HE IS JACKSON’S IMAGINARY FRIEND. HE HELPS JACKSON WHEN JACKSON IS SCARED ABOUT BECOMING HOMELESS. CRENSHAW TRIES TO CHEER HIM UP. I LIKE TO READ ABOUT IMAGINARY FRIENDS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADERS, OR TO ANYONE WHO ENJOYS A GOOD BOOK ABOUT A FUNNY, IMAGINARY CAT.
